Deputy Premier congratulates AFC president on re-election

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has congratulated the President of the Asian Football Confederation Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa on his election uncontested for a second term in office. The Deputy Premier described Shaikh Salman's re-election as a great achievement for the Kingdom of Bahrain, GCC countries and the Arab world. It reflects the outstanding capabilities of Bahrainis, and the distinguished status they enjoy at the regional and international levels, and affirms Bahrain's prestigious reputation in the youth and sport fields, he said. He wished AFC President more landmark accomplishments, and success in enhancing unity among members of the Asian football community.
