HRH Premier congratulates AFC President

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa on his re-appointment as AFC President for a new four-year term. HRH the Premier lauded the high competence of Shaikh Salman which resulted in his well-deserved re-election to the prestigious Asian post, commending Shaikh Salman's strenuous efforts to develop the sport movement. He stressed that his re-election as AFC President for a new four-year term would contribute to further developing Asian football. HRH the Prime Minister praised the Bahraini competencies who spare no effort in boosting Bahrain's image in regional, Arab and international gatherings, wishing Shaikh Salman every success. A O Q
