Information Minister receives lawmaker

Manama, Apr. 29 (BNA)-- Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi received today member of the Representatives Council Ghazi Faisal Al Rahma, the Deputy Head of the parliamentary Public Utilities and Environment Committee. They discussed ways of boosting cooperation between the Information Ministry and the Council of Representatives to serve the nation and citizens and push forward the reform and development process spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The minister underlined keenness to highlight the activities of the Representatives Council by various mass media and spotlight legislative and monitoring issues through radio and television programmes. He also stressed the government's keenness to boost cooperation with the legislative branch, in line with the directives of His Royal Highness the Premier, mainly in discussing the general budget draft law for the fiscal years 2015-2016. The MP thanked the minister for his support to the parliamentary work.
