HRH Premier hails solid ties with Malaysia

Manama, Apr. 29 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Sultan of Pahang in Malaysia. HRH Premier reviewed with Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah the long-standing friendly Bahraini-Malaysian relations, and ways to bolster them in various fields. He expressed satisfaction with the steady growth of bilateral relations at all levels, in light of the outstanding ties bonding the two countries and their friendly peoples, affirming Bahrain's keen desire to open up new horizons of cooperation with Malaysia, especially in the economic, trade and investment fields. HRH Premier praised Malaysia's support to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and role in focusing efforts on developing the game across the continent. He also lauded Malaysia's support to Bahrain at international gatherings, including sporting ones, which, he said, reflects the advanced level of bilateral relations. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the development and progress boom currently witnessed by Malaysia in the economic and development fields, which helped enhanced the Asian continent's status and role at the international arena. Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister, and the kingdom's leadership and people, for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him. He lauded the remarkable Progress of bilateral relations, praising Bahrain's development and progress in all fields.
