Banking Expert Calls For International Involvement in The Reconstruction of Liberated Cities Like Marshall Plan
BAGHDAD / NINA / The banking expert, Sadiq al-Shammari called to international involvement in the reconstruction of the liberated cities along the lines of the Marshall Plan, which adopted the reconstruction of Europe after World War II," pointing out that "the imperatives require work on the implementation of the reconstruction project that all the nations of the world contribute in it to support Iraq as it bears currently the burden of defending the world against terrorism of Daash.
He warned, during a seminar organized by the Iraqi economists association dedicated to supporting the security forces and the popular defense and work on the reconstruction of the liberated cities from the serious repercussions posed by terrorism in Iraq on the present and future of the Iraqi economy, particularly in terms of sectors of development and reconstruction," stressing" the importance of concerted efforts and mobilize energies to build new foundations contribute to the response to the terrorist groups and help to keep the foundations of the Iraqi economy in all its aspects. "
He noted that the victories of Iraq against Daash must be a starting point for economic construction phase and promote the comprehensive development of the productive sectors and investment opportunities to enhance the advancement of the reconstruction of the country in various fields. "
He added, "The call for the participation of the international community in the reconstruction of liberated cities in Iraq could be along the lines of the Marshall Plan, which adopted to the reconstruction of Europe after World War II," pointing out that" this call mainly relate to the role played by Iraq in response to the aggression of Daash on behalf of the world. "
He explained, "The actors in the Iraqi society are responsible for implementing this call and to be the beginning of a broad international effort to support Iraq against terrorism."/ End
