Public Security Chief attends graduation

Manama, Apr.21 (BNA): Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Hassan Al-Hassan has today attended a graduation ceremony of two courses. The first six-month course was on inspirational leadership covered 31 trainee. It was organized by the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) and included lectures and practical leadership training. The second course was a human rights diploma for 35 commissioned officers and civilian staff and was organized by the RAP as part of the Interior Ministry dedication to promote human rights practices. The Chief hailed the directives of the Interior Minister to provide the required plans and programmes to enhance the performance of employees as part of the development and modernization strategy and to meet the latest international trends in personnel training. The Chief expressed his thanks and appreciation to the RAP that supervised the two courses, and highlighted that the commitment of human rights is an important value of public security forces to ensure good police performance. He said that the commitment of policemen of the law gives a positive image to the Ministry and its personnel. During the event that was attended by senior officials, Officer Training College of the RAP Commander Lt-Colonel Ammar Mustafa delivered a speech, in which he highlighted dedication to promote skills of personnel to develop security work. At the end of the ceremony, the Chief distributed certificates among the graduates and called upon them to work harder in performing duties through commitment to the law. He wished them all the best in serving the nation.
