HM the King receives Commander of the US Central Command

Manama, Apr. 19 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Bahrain International Circuit today, in the presence of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, visiting Commander of the US Central Command General Lloyd J. Austin. HM the King took pride in strong historic relations between Bahrain and the USA as well as growing cooperation between both countries in various fields. He stressed joint keenness to boost relations of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries, mainly in the military field. HM the King underscored Bahrain's support to all efforts aimed at promoting regional security and stability, stressing the US key role in maintaining global peace. He also stressed the efforts of General Austin in bolstering bilateral cooperation.
