HM the King receives Youth and Sport Affairs Minister

Manama, Apr. 19 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs Hesham bin Mohammed Al Jowder who took the legal oath on the occasion of his appointment to his new post. HM the King congratulated him, wishing him every success in his new national responsibility and lauding his competence and experience. HM King Hamad underlined his support to the youth and sport sector due to its role in serving Bahrain's comprehensive development march and boosting the kingdom's pioneering regional and international status in the sport arena. He took pride in Bahraini youngsters and their achievements, stressing their role in Bahrain's development. HRH the Prime Minister thanked HM the King for his directives, asserting the government's resolve to carry them out to serve the national march. On his part, the Youth and Sport Affairs Minister extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HM the King for the royal trust, pledging to do his best in fulfilling his national responsibility and serving Bahrain and its people.
