Bahrain GP success hailed

Manama, Apr.19 (BNA): Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) President His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa has today congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister on the success of the 2015 Gulf Air Bahrain F1 Grand Prix, which was held at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), the home of motorsport in the Middle East. In a statement today, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad hailed the GP milestone as reflecting Bahrain's ability to host mega international events and championships, which consolidates Bahrain's standing on the global sport map. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad hailed the efforts of the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) to ensure the success of the F1 night race, congratulating Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team star driver Lewis Hamilton on his landmark victory.
