BACA President receives Italian ambassador

Manama, Apr. 19 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received today Italian Ambassador to Bahrain Alberto Vecchi who presented her with an invitation to attend the international conference of the Culture Ministers of the countries taking part in Expo Milano 2015. The conference will be held in Italy on July 31 and August 1. Shaikha Mai thanked the Italian ambassador for the invitation and updated him on Bahrain's preparations for its participation in Expo Milano 2015 which is set to be held in Italy from May to November. Both sides also discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation, mainly in the cultural field, and issues of common concern.
