Commander-in-Chief visits BDF units

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today paid inspection visits to a number of BDF units.
On arrival, the Commander-in-Chief was welcomed by the units' commanders and a number of BDF senior officers.
He was briefed about the units' latest development plans and advanced technical systems, and inspected their equipment and military preparedness.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief conveyed to the units' affiliates greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, and sincere thanks for their outstanding participation in joint military tasks, alongside brotherly countries, for the sake of maintaining regional security and stability.
He affirmed BDF's constant desire to provide its units with the latest and most modern military systems, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
He pledged that BDF would carry on its plans to upgrade the level of its affiliates in accordance with the latest military and combat standards so as to enable them to perform their duties in the best way.

The Commander-in-Chief was accompanied by Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Inspector General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al Nuami, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics Rear Admiral Yussef Ahmed Malallah and a number of senior BDF officers.
