Stage set for Bahrain F1 Grand Prix

Manama, Apr.15 (BNA): Southern Governor Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa asserted the readiness of the Southern Governorate to welcome visitors and guests of the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. He highlighted the directives of the wise leadership to facilitate all procedures to support the success of the international event. He said that the F1 is one of many reasons of the economic development in Bahrain, noting that the Southern Governorate in cooperation with concerned authorities have ended all preparations for the event. He urged citizens and residents to attend the race, while the Governorate is seeking the support of the private sector to enable a number of residents and members of charitable organizations to attend the event as part of community partnership. He called upon the public to interact with the F1 visitors to highlight the Bahraini hospitality. He wished all the best to the participated teams. (MOI-Police Media Centre).
