Special Force Commander participates in SOFINS 2015

Paris, Apr. 14 (BNA): Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has arrived in France today to attend the Special Operations Forces Innovation Network Seminar (SOFINS), the only academic military seminar of its kind in Europe that attracts participants from all over the world. The visit also aims to increase areas of military cooperation between Bahrain and France. Shaikh Khalid participated in the opening of SOFINS 2015, as well as the workshops and round table held on its sidelines. Shaikh Khalid lauded the advanced level of Bahraini-French ties in all fields, and affirmed the solid relations between the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and the French Army. Organised by the French Special Forces at the "De Souce" Military Base in the French city of Bordeaux, SOFINS is the meeting of Special Forces with research world and innovative manufacturers. It provides an occasion for Special Forces to discover new high technology solutions that meet their needs and high level requirements.
