Coastguard Commander receives Saudi delegation

Manama, Apr.13 (BNA): Coast Guard Commander Commodore Alaa Abdulla Siyadi has today received a delegation from the Saudi Border Guard, led by Commodore Obaidallah bin Saad Al-Ghamdi. The visit is part of the directives of the Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC) leaders to promote bilateral cooperation and discussed key issues of mutual interest. The Saudi delegation visited the Coastguard Command Maritime Operations Room and were briefed on work procedures and maritime checkpoints. Commodore Siyadi stressed the importance of exchanging visits, which contribute to bolstering regional maritime security and serving the interests of the GCC member countries.
