HRH Premier praises "Operation Decisive Storm"

Manama, Apr. 13 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has asserted that the alliance of Saudi Arabia and brotherly countries within the "Operation Decisive Storm" to support legitimacy in Yemen serves noble goals based on defending right and justice, and adherence to legitimacy.
HRH Premier pointed out that the stability and security of GCC countries, and the advanced standards of living enjoyed by their citizens thanks to the efforts of their government have displeased some sides, which, as a result, are trying to undermine GCC security and stability and impede GCC achievements through interference into their domestic affairs.
He affirmed that the Saudi-led "Coalition of the Good" was launched to put an end to such interference and lay bare the ambitions of foreign sides habouring evil and ill-intentions against GCC countries, stressing that the "Operation Decisive Storm" has created a new Arab stance and resolve against interference in Arab affairs.
HRH the Prime Minister made the statements as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace today a delegation from the legislative branch, led by First Deputy Speaker Ali Abdulla Al-Aradi, and First Deputy Shura Council Chairman Jamal Mohammed Fakhro.
He expressed great confidence in the "House of the People" and MPs, affirming that the government's hands are extended to cooperation with the legislative branch for the best interests of the nation and its people, and in order to optimise landmark achievements that enhance the kingdom's leading status in various fields.
HRH Premier voiced pride in the election of Bahraini MPs and Shura members to the membership of the International Parliamentary Union (IPU), which, he asserted, represents a vote of confidence in Bahrain's parliamentary and democratic achievements.
HRH Premier reviewed with the audience a number of GCC issues, calling for the need to develop GCC industries in order to achieve self-sufficiency.
HRH Premier explained that each GCC country should focus on its special food products and industries, stressing the importance of creating a mechanism that ensures complementarity among GCC states in this regard, amid the developments of the situation in the region and their aftermath.
