Deputy premier receives US ambassador

Manama, Apr. 12 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck. The Deputy Premier reviewed with the Ambassador the Bahraini-US relations, and ways to bolster them. He also discussed with him areas of joint cooperation, as well as the latest regional and global developments, including the Framework Agreement reached between the 5+1 group and Iran on the latter's nuclear programme. The meeting also touched upon the situation in Yemen and efforts to support and strengthen the legitimate government there. Ambassador William Roebuck lauded the advanced level of bilateral relations and cooperation in all fields.
