HM the King praises EDB's role

Manama, Apr. 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al-Sakhir Palace today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board (EDB) Khalid Amr Al-Rumaihi. HM the King congratulated the EDB Chief Executive, and wished him every success in assuming his duties. HM King Hamad praised Khalid Al-Rumaihi's competence and experience, expressing pride in the Bahrainis and their landmark contributions to the Kingdom's development and progress march, and their constant desire to boost the kingdom's status at all levels, especially in the economic, trade and investment fields. HM the King lauded the crucial role played by EDB in devising plans and strategies, supporting initiatives aiming to consolidate the kingdom's economic structure and investment atmosphere and promoting Bahrain through attracting various added value foreign investment projects that spur the national economy. Khalid Amr Al-Rumaihi extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HM the King for the precious trust bestowed upon him, expressing hope that he will be worthy of the Royal Trust and achieve EDB's goals in the best way.
