Bahrain attends Arab Finance Ministers’ meeting

Kuwait, Apr7(BNA)The Kingdom of Bahrain has today attended the 6th Arab Finance Ministers’ meeting in the State of Kuwait. An official delegation led by Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa has also attended the annual meetings of the Arab monetary institutions. The delegation included Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs Yusuf Abdulla Humood, Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) executive director for banking operations Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al-Khalifa, external economic relations director Sami Mohammed Hameed, Senior Coordination and Follow-up Specialist Mohammed Fuad Sater and Senior Economist Abdulla Abdulhamid Al-Aradi. The delegations endorsed the financial consolidated accounts of the Arab Monetary Fund, the Arab Economic and Social Development Fund, The Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (DHAMAN), the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID). The ministers discussed latest economic and financial developments, stressing the importance of the of coordinating Arab stances in international arenas and exchanging reform practices.
