MRMHCE to give treatment to 30 crippled Palestinian children in Dubai
Dubai, Dec 18, 2008 (WAM) - Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian '&' Charity Establishment is planning to provide necessary treatment to 30 Palestinian children suffering from various diseases. This comes as the continuation of the initiative launched by the Establishment during last year to support Palestinian patients.
The Establishment will bring the children from Palestine to give them necessary treatment and artificial limbs at the Dubai Department of Health with support from the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) The PCRF was created as a non-political, non-profit humanitarian organization to help arrange free medical care abroad for injured and sick Palestinian children during the first uprising.
Many children are virtually crippled or amputated as a result of the Israeli atrocities perpetrated against Palestinian children.
Addressing a press conference, the Vice Chairman of the Establishment Ibrahim Bu Melha said that the first batch of children will arrive in Dubai by next week.
The press conference was also attended by PCRF director Steve Sosebee.
