Health Minister receives Japanese Ambassador

Manama, Mar. 29 – (BNA): Health Minister Sadiq bin Abdul-Kareem Al-Shehabi received the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kiyoshi Asako. The meeting explored the friendship and in various fields, commending the outcomes of the Kingdom's participation in the sessions of the Third World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai, Japan. The minister praised the high-level organizational efforts, the dialogue sessions and added-value accomplishments for the participants in terms of exchanging mutual expertise and keeping up to date with latest developments in disaster management techniques, on the side-lines of participation in the conference. The ambassador praised the progress and development of the bilateral relations at the level of both countries' leaderships and peoples . The ambassador expressed gratitude and appreciation to the minister for the good reception. (IY)
