Government agrees establishing fund for floods- affected areas

SANA'A, Dec. 16 (Saba)- The government agreed in its weekly
cabinet's meeting held on Tuesday on the draft law for establishing
the fund of reconstructing floods-affected areas in Hadramout and
Mahrah governorates.

The funds aims at coordinating the process of reconstruction in the
affected areas for realizing development aims and curing damages
befell infrastructure according government development plan.

Item number 6 of the project stipulates on forming the board of the
fund chaired by the Prime Minister and membership of a number of
ministers and representatives of the private sector, civil society
organizations and governors of Mahra and Hadramout.


The cabinet also agreed on the draft republican decree for
establishing the general authority for organizing ground transport
affairs and directed completing legal measures for issuing the draft.

Establishing the authority is for enhancing organizing activities
ground transport and observing them in cities and governorates and
ground outlets for ensuring improving performance and contributing
to development.
