ACU, GTZ discuss agricultural cooperation

SANA'A, Dec. 16 (Saba) - Head of the Agricultural Cooperative Union
(ACU) Mohammed Bashir discussed here on Tuesday with the GTZ
delegation cooperation aspects via the German project in the
agricultural field.

The GTZ delegation briefed the ACU head on the component of the
German agricultural project running in Yemen and the goals the
project intends to release to assist yemen in the area of food
security.

Bashir praised the project and the role GTZ plays in agriculture
sector in the country to strengthen the bilateral Yemeni-German
relations.

He highlighted the needs of the agricultural sector in Yemen in
fields of production, improved seed and food industries.

Worth mentioning is that a number of meetings will be held in the
future to set up a machinery to implement the project in cooperation
with the ACU.
