Malaysia grants $100,000 to assist rain-affected people in Yemen

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec. 16 (Saba) - Yemen received on Tuesday about
$100,000 from Malaysia to assist the rain-affected people in
governorates of Hadramout and Mahrah eastern of Yemen.

A cheque of the amount was handed over to the Yemeni ambassador to
Kuala Lumpur Abdullah al-Muntaser during his meeting with the
Malaysian foreign minister Rais Yatim.

Yatim affirmed the Malaysian supportive attitude to Yemen to
overcome the impacts of the heavy rains in the damaged areas.

Al-Muntaser lauded the stance of the Malaysian government and
people, who shoed strong keenness on helping their affected brothers
in Yemen.
