Davoodi: Iran eager to expand ties with all states

Tehran, Dec 16, IRNA - First Vice President Parviz Davoodi said here on Monday that Iran is keen on expanding relations with all states, especially the friendly and Muslim ones.

Davoodi further told outgoing Moroccan Ambassador to Tehran Mohammad
al-Wifa that there are many issues in the region and the world,
including Iraq, Palestine, Qods, Lebanon and North Africa, which
Muslim states, including Iran and Morocco, can use to forge closer
cooperation and relations.

"Cooperation among friendly, Muslim states, particularly Iran and
Morocco, would ensure welfare, prosperity and security for regional
nations," he added.

Al-Wifa, for his part, called for further promotion of Iran-Morocco
relations, and noted that during his tenure he had tried to bolster
bilateral ties.
