PM inspects project of new Sana`a international airport
SANA'A, Dec. 15 (Saba)-The Prime Minister Ali Mujawar inspected on
Monday works in the new Sana'a International Airport project.
Mujawar listened to report from the director of the project Mohammed
al-Yadomi about the level of the project's implementation, saying
that 40 percent in constructing the main building of the airport has
been done.
He said that the current stage of works is cost around $ 115 million.
The stage would be ended by next year.
Al-Yadomi said that the cost of the coming phase is $ 250 million,
confirming that the airport will be ready by first quarter of 2011.
The prime minister affirmed importance of the project to response
for growing air movement inside and outside of Sana'a capital.
He insisted on carrying out the project on time, highlighting level
of the implementation of the project by a Chinese company and the
Yemeni team working in the project as well as the Dutch consultative
company in following the project.
