Apollo students get in the Christmas spirit

Hanoi (VNA) - Hundreds of Hanoi Apollo students got into the holiday spirit on Dec. 14 at a Christmas party, which included caroling, presents and even a visit from Santa Claus himself.

The fun-packed event was held to boost students' confidence in communicating in
English as well as teach them more about the customs of other countries,
organisers said.

Activities included marking Christmas decorations, a Christmas card design contest
and a gift sharing event to benefit disabled children.

In addition to playing festive games liked "Fill the Christmas Stocking and Pass
the Parcel", the kids also joined guest of honour Santa Claus in singing popular
Christmas songs in English, such as Jingle Bell Rock, Santa Claus Is Coming to
Town and Frosty the Snowman.

"Ww all were excited for the time when we would get presents from Santa Claus," an
Apollo student said.

Similar events will also be held for Apollo students in Hai Phong, Da Nang and
Ho Chi Minh City.-Enditem
