Thai Son Nam wins futsal contest

HCM City (VNA) - Vietnam 's Thai Son Nam defeated a Malaysian team 10-2 to win
the second HCM City International Futsal (indoor football) Championship Kinh Do -
Vinacapital Cup 2008 on Dec. 14 in Phu Tho Stadium.

After three-day round robin, Thai Son Nam earned a total seven points in three
matches to secure the first place and receive a 5,000 USD prize.

Total Sports of Japan passed Thailand in the last day of the competition to get
four points and take the 3,000 USD second place prize.

Organisers also awarded best player to Lertchai Issarasuwipakorn of Thai Son Nam
and best goalkeeper to Kyohei Noda of Total Sports. Each received a 200 USD prize.

The second international futsal tournament which kicked off in HCM City last Friday
attracted four teams from Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and host Vietnam.-Enditem
