Bahrain hosts WAAA's board meeting

Manama, Feb. 23 – (BNA): The Bahrain-based West Asian Athletics Association (WAAA) convenes its third annual board meeting in the Kingdom of Bahrain today. On this occasion the WAAA's Secretary-general Mohammed Abdullatif has welcomed the participating delegations, wishing them a very nice stay in their second home Bahrain, asserting that the association does not spare any efforts to provide them with all means to ensure the successfulness of the meeting and to come up with fruitful positive results. The board meeting will discuss various key topics on the agenda aimed to develop the "mother-of-all-sports" in West Asia region. The association's board of directors members have already arrived in Bahrain, including board deputy chairman Nasser Al Maamary (UAE), Sayar Al Anzi (Kuwait) Alaa Jabir (Iraq), Saeed Al Qassimi (Oman), Nematullah Bajani (Lebanon); and, Mai Al Mohammadi (Qatar).
