Foreign Ministry condemns Copenhagen terrorist attacks

Manama, Feb. 15. (BNA) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned "the two terrorist attacks that targeted a cultural centre and a Synagogue in Copenhagen". In a statement issued today, the ministry affirmed that "the two attacks contradict with human values and international norms and laws as well as divine religions that guarantee individual’s freedom and dignity." The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed "the unwavering stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain that rejects violence and terrorism of all forms and manifestations, regardless of the motives and justifications. It also underlines the need to respect religious specificities and sanctities and not to affront them or encroach upon their symbols in any way." It presented its "condolences and consolation to the families and relatives of the victims, wishing the injured in both attacks speedy recovery."
