$ 1.2 mln granted to improve health emergency services in Yemen
SANA'A, Dec. 14 (Saba)-The UN Emergency Fund and the Dutch
government have allocated $ 1.2 million to support services of the
health emergency in governorates of the country which were hit
by flooding.
In his statement to Saba, the minister of the public health and
population Abdul-Kareem Rase said that the ministry has received a
letter over this allocated sum from the World Health Organization
(WHO) to improve the services of the health emergency in the
affected governorates due to heavy rains especially in Hardamout,
al-Mahara and Hodediah.
He said that this support offered by the UN Emergency Fund at amount
of $ 560,000 and $ 640,000 by the Dutch government through the WHO.AH
