UAE: Key trade partner to Yemen in GCC
Sana’a, Dec 15, 2008 (WAM) - The UAE emerged last year as the major trader partner to Yemen in the GCC countries,'' an official report said.
''Yemen imported goods worth 356 billion Yemeni Riyals from the UAE and supplied UAE with goods at the value of 94 billion Riyals,'' according to Yemeni Central Statistics Bureau.
Trade exchange between Yemen and the GCC rose to YR 777.2 billion in 2007 from YR 551.8 billion in 2006.
