Centre of Information Affairs releases "Leader Khalifa Bin Zayed" book
Abu Dhabi, Dec 14, 2008 (WAM) - The Centre of Information Affairs in Abu Dhabi published a book entitled "Leader Khalifa Bin Zayed: March of a Nation" in celebration of the 37th national day of the United Arab Emirates.
The book tackles the great achievements and extensive accomplishments realized by the UAE under the wise leadership of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with the support of his brothers Their Highnesses members of the UAE Supreme Council.
The book asserts that the basic factors behind stability and progress in the United Arab Emirates, from the stages of establishment and building to the stages of prosperity and empowerment could have not borne fruits without a wise leadership able to understand the conditions of the present and foresee the horizons of the future.
The UAE leadership "has managed in a short span of time to leave its stamp on every aspect and field of life, to mobilize all energies, and to overcome, with clear-sightedness and good judgment, the difficulties and obstacles lying ahead, so that it can successfully move into broad horizons of development and growth," notes the book.
President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has expressed this fact when he said, "the establishment of the Union came as a result of a great effort and strife. At its beginning, the Union did not have any federal institution or apparatus save for decision, good intention, and the determination of men and their belief in the necessity of work and sacrifice." The book indicates that the efforts of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in strengthening the Union and his insightful vision have illuminated the march of development in the country. It adds that His Highness took part in the foundational and building stage of the country, in company with his father late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his brothers Their Highnesses the Rulers of the emirates.
No doubt that the observer of the UAE Federal experience will have no difficulty in finding the bright aspects of the achievements realized in this land, right from the setting of the foundations and goals, through the evolution of the march, to the achievement of these goals and aims, says the book.
It points out that the UAE reawakening owes its sustainability to a comprehensive strategy laid down, on sound and balanced bases, by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
As the economic achievements, which came as a result of His Highness' strategic vision, are tremendous, the social achievements are no less important, because the individual and society are the main goal of all development programs envisioned by His Highness, states the book.
The book mentions that the interest and care of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan are not limited to man in the UAE, but they extend to man everywhere.
It points out that the wise leadership in the UAE remains fully convinced that effective contribution to the international development efforts, and the provision of assistance and aid to the needy people are necessary to alleviate the severity and harshness of humanitarian crises all over the world.
