Lebanese community in Bahrain denounces Nasrallah's statements

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA)-- A delegation from the Lebanese community in Bahrain voiced their categorical rejection of the statements made by Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of the so called Hizbollah, against Bahrain, describing that as a blatant interference in the kingdom's internal Affairs. In a statement issued by the Lebanese community today, which was addressed to the Lebanese embassy and directly handed over to Charge D'Affaires Ibrahim Assaf, they said those statements are considered "an unacceptable encroachment on the security and unity of a sisterly Arab country". They demanded the Lebanese government to take the necessary measure regarding those resentment and anger-inciting statements against Bahrain, the country where they have lived, worked and felt the kindness of its people and government. The Lebanese delegation strongly denounced Nasrallah's statements, underlining keenness on Bahrain's unity and stability. They condemned the negative role played by Nasrallah and his party against Bahrain over the past years, pointing out the deliberate attempts to divide the nation, encroach on its unity, drag it into regional conflicts and shake its security by carrying out a foreign agenda aimed solely at achieving regional dominance and expanding the zone of regional conflicts. The delegation underscored the Lebanese people's rejection of Nasrallah's interference in Bahrain's affairs, praying Allah Almighty to protect both countries from advocates of sedition and divide.
