HH Deputy Premier receives Japanese Ambassador

Manama, Jan. 14 -- (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kiyoshi Asako on the occasion of assuming his ambassadorial duties. His Highness welcomed the newly-appointed Japanese Ambassador, wishing him success in boosting the amicable bilateral relations which witnessed a great push since the historic visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Japan in 2012 followed by the visit of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister and the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to Japan in 2013 and the concomitant agreements and understandings signed between the two sides, emphasizing the importance of working and building on what has already been accomplished and activation of these agreements and understandings. The Japanese Ambassador thanked His Highness for the welcoming reception, assuring that he will work on boosting and following up various agreements and understandings between his country and Bahrain and pushing the bilateral cooperation relations to further development and growth.
