Judoka, LPGA star tie the knot

SEOUL, Dec. 12 (Yonhap) -- Athens gold medalist judoka Lee Won-hee and golf star
Kim Mi-hyun tied the knot in a wedding ceremony in Seoul on Friday.

Lee, 27, and Kim, 31, who are one of the celebrity athlete couples in the
country, met while shooting a television show last year.
"We appreciate all of you for celebrating with us and promise you that we will
respect and support each other with all our best," they said in a statement
before starting a cross-country tour for their honeymoon.
Kim has won eight LPGA events since she joined the tour in 1999 and became Rookie
of the Year.
Lee, who won the gold in the 73-kilogram event at the 2004 Athens Games, but
failed to qualify for the Beijing Games, has vowed to restore his glory in
London.
