Oil minister leaves Yemen for Japan

SANA'A, Dec. 12 (Saba)- Minister of Oil and Minerals and board
chairman of the Yemeni Liquefied Natural Gas Company Amir
al-Aidaros left Sana'a for Japan for several days official visit.

In his statement to Saba upon his departure, al-Aidaros said that he
would attend a ceremony of handing over a tanker of liquefied
natural gas which has been done by Japanese Mitsubishi Company.

The tanker would transport gas from Balhaf seaport to United Sates
in favor of Total company for gas and energy.

Al-Aidaros said that he would hold meetings with the heads of the
Japanese oil companies over opportunities of investment in the
fields of oil, gas and minerals in Yemen.
