BCCI, GCC Labour and Social Council discuss bolstering cooperation

Manama, Jan 6 (BNA) – Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Khalid Al-Moayyad, today received Executive Office's Director-General of GCC Labour and Social Affairs Ministers Council, Aqeel Al-Jassim. The parties reviewed means of boosting cooperation and joint partnership. Al-Jassim pointed out the concordance in some of the goals and activities between the two sides. He noted the Executive Office programs carried out in the fields of entrepreneurship, development of small and medium enterprises and empowerment of working women, which have received approval by the Gulf states. He commended the BCCI efforts in overcoming obstacles faced by investment sector. He underlined the importance of the role of investments in setting the GCC common market in motion, which come in conformity with the directives of GCC leaders and aspirations of their people.
