WORLD FINANCIAL CRISIS NOT HITTING ICT SECTOR OF AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 12 December,(AzerTAj)The global financial crisis does not seriously affect the information and communication technology sector of Azerbaijan. This sector has a huge potential.
According to the Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technology Elmir Velizadeh, the ICT sector in Azerbaijan is rapidly developing. The growth rate in the ICT sector has made up 30-35% over the past 3-4 years. 80% of revenues came from the private sector and 20% from the state sector.
