2009 STATE BUDGET TO BE SOCIALLY AND INVESTMENT ORIENTED
Baku, 12 December,(AzerTAj)President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to apply the law on the state budget for 2009. The next year`s budget will be socially and investment oriented. Budget revenues will come to AZN 12,177,000,000 and expenditures 12,355,000,000.
Priority areas in budget expenditures are public investment, military, education, social security, and healthcare. Expenditures of the Social Protection Fund are to be around AZN 1.8 bln.
GDP is to reach AZN 43 bln next year, up by 18% in comparison with that in 2008.
Inflation rate is predicted 15% next year.
