HRH Premier receives Shaikh Jaber Al-Abdulla

Manama, Dec. 10. (BNA) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today Shaikh Jaber Al Abdulla Al Sabah, who is on brotherly visit to the kingdom. Shaikh Jaber's visit is within the framework of the fraternal strong bilateral relations, growing steadily in all fields and at all levels. HRH Premier welcomed Shaikh Jaber Al-Abdulla's brotherly visit, and expressed pride in the solid Bahraini-Kuwaiti ties. He affirmed that the deep-rooted bilateral relations and the special ties bonding the two brotherly peoples have been constantly consolidated thanks to the two sides' constant desire to boost them in all fields. He pointed out that Bahraini-Kuwaiti ties had been founded by the forefathers and strengthened constantly by the successive generations. He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation, on behalf of Bahrain, to the Kuwaiti leadership and government for their constant support in various fields. HRH Premier said that Bahrain considers its relation with Kuwait as a "bright" model of relations among GCC countries, explaining that they stem from a family, popular and official legacy based on mutual love and rapprochement. HRH the Prime Minister expressed delight at the visit reflecting anew the specific feature of the joint relations. Shaikh Jaber Al Abdulla conveyed to HRH Premier greetings from the Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, and wishes of abundant good health and happiness to him and of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain, under its leadership. He expressed pride in the warm welcome accorded to him by HRH Premier, which, he said, reflects the specific and distinguished nature of the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations. He praised HRH Premier's contributions to building a unique model of relations between the two countries, and efforts to constantly support those ties. HRH Premier hosted a reception ceremony in honour of Shaikh Jaber Al-Abdulla Al Sabah and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of a number of senior Ruling Family and senior state officials.
