HM the King receives French Defence Minister

Manama, Dec 6 (BNA) -- His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today at Al-Sakhir Palace, received French Defence Minister, Jean-Yves Odrian, who is currently visiting the country to attend the 10th Manama Dialogue Forum. HM the King commended cooperation and friendship relations bonding the two countries and highlighted Bahrain's keenness to further bolster them in all fields. HM the King appreciated the French Minister's participation in the 10th Manama Dialogue Forum, which is held under serious challenges facing the region that necessitate intensive consultation and coordination. HM the King extended his greetings to the French President, Francois Hollande, and wished France and its people further progress and prosperity. French Defence Minister hailed HM the King's interest in hosting this vital event and the high-level organisation. He noted hosting conference on combating terrorism funding by Bahrain and underscored the close match of views between Bahrain and France on various issues of joint interest.
