HM the King receives Saudi Interior Minister

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA)-- His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Saudi Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain. Prince Mohammed conveyed to HM the King the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud as well as their best wishes to him of abundant good health and happiness and further progress and prosperity to Bahrain. HM the King welcomed Prince Mohammed bin Nayef and asked him to convey his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi Crown Prince as well as his best wishes of more progress and prosperity to the Saudi people. HM took pride in deep-rooted historic relations of brotherhood between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and continuous bilateral cooperation in various fields. He also commended Saudi Arabia's honourable stances in supporting Bahrain as well as the kingdom's key role in backing the GCC work and rallying ranks to face challenges. HM the King discussed with the Saudi Interior Minister the latest regional and Arab developments and issues of common interest. Prince Mohammed bin Nayef was welcomed on arrival to Bahrain and seen off on departure by mainly Personal Representative of HM the King Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
