Foreign Ministry bids Sri Lankan Ambassador farewell

Manama, Dec3(BNA) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted this afternoon a farewell ceremony in honour of the outgoing Ambassador the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the kingdom, H.E. Mr. Anwar Rajakaruna. At the beginning of the ceremony, the Undersecretary of Regional and GCC Affairs Ambassador Hamad Ahmed Al-Amer praised the outstanding efforts exerted by the outgoing Sir Lankan Ambassador during his tenure, and his contribution in bolstering bilateral ties between the two countries in all areas. The outgoing Sri Lankan Ambassador expressed his appreciation to Undersecretary Al-Amer and all officials in the Kingdom for their hospitality and co-operation, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. Undersecretary Al-Amer presented the outgoing Ambassador with a memento marking the occasion at the end of the ceremony and wished him further success.
