Qashqavi underlines foreign legations` diplomatic immunity
Tehran, Dec 10, IRNA - Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi on Tuesday stressed diplomatic immunity of foreign legations in Iran.
Qashqavi made the comment in reaction to recent sit-ins held outside
certain embassies in Tehran in protest to stances taken by due
governments in connection with human catastrophe in Gaza.
"Foreign Ministry has always been striving for bolstering Muslim
states' assistance to innocent Gazans, while condemning Zionist
regime's aggressions and crimes in Gaza," read a statement issued by
Qashqavi on Tuesday.
The statement said that Iran's Foreign Ministry minds national and
Muslim ummah's interests in building relations with other countries.
The Iranian official said Iranian police should prevent any
unauthorized demonstrations and gatherings and likely attacks on
embassies.
He said the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to maintain and
establish ties with Muslim states, especially with the neighboring
countries.
