Bahrain condemns terror blasts targeting UAE and Egyptian embassies in Tripoli

Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA)-- The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns the two evil terrorist explosions that targeted the headquarters of the Embassies of the brotherly United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Libyan capital, Tripoli. It considers such acts as a dangerous challenge and blatant encroachment on the international law and values and reflective of adamant and clear insistence by the terrorists and extremists to ignite tensions and conflicts as well as to prolong a state of instability in the region and impair relations among its countries. The Kingdom of Bahrain holds the armed hardliner groups accountable for the legal and criminal responsibility of such terrorist acts that contradicts with all divine laws and international rules and norms, which all guarantee diplomatic missions protection. It also reiterates its unwavering support to the Libyan authorities in their endeavors to underpin the pillars of legitimacy, represented in the elected house of representatives and the government of Prime Minister Abdullah Al Theni, towards achieving the ambitions and aspirations of the brotherly Libyan people for reinforcing security and stability across the brotherly Libyan State.
