HM King Hamad receives Swiss State Secretary

Manama, Nov11(BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has today received at Al-Sakhir Palace Swiss State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Yves Rossier, currently on visit to Bahrain. HM the King welcomed the Swiss official and hailed solid relations of friendship and cooperation bonding the two friendly countries, stressing Bahrain's keenness on bolstering political, economic, tourism and cultural relations. HM the King underscored the importance of exchanging high-level visits between senior officials and continuing consultation and coordination to strengthen joint cooperation and achieve joint interests. He also commended the role of Switzerland as well as its contribution alongside the international community to consolidate security and stability and cement global peace. HM the King reviewed with the Swiss minister regional and international political developments and issues of mutual concern. Swiss State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Yves Rossier also commended the good relations bonding the two countries in all fields, paying tribute to officials in Bahrain for their cooperation and warm welcome.
