China issues draft agreement on N. Korean nuke verification

BEIJING, Dec. 9 (Yonhap) -- China circulated a draft of a key agreement on
Tuesday to the other participants of the six-way talks on North Korea's nuclear
program under way here, South Korean delegates said.

The draft of a verification protocol sets guidelines for how to confirm the
accuracy of the North's June declaration of its secret nuclear program, they
added. China chairs the nuclear talks, which also involve the U.S., Russia, and
Japan.
