SEOUL, Dec. 9 (Yonhap) -- North Korea's Ri Ye-gyong has reaped the Silver Shoe
award by scoring the second most goals at the under-20 women's World Cup in which
her team finished runner-up, FIFA showed on its Web site Tuesday.

Ri, 19, netted four goals during the 16-nation competition that ended Monday in
Chile. Sydney Leroux of the United States took the Golden Shoe title by scoring
six, the world football governing said.
The United States downed defending champions North Korea 2-1 in the final,
capturing their first title since 2002. Alex Morgan of the United States also
scored four times but came in third place because Ri outperformed her in assists,
FIFA said.
