S. Korea, Egypt see benefits in expanding cooperation: officials
SEOUL, Dec. 9 (Yonhap) -- South Korea and Egypt will expand bilateral cooperation
in energy, construction and other areas deemed to be mutually beneficial,
officials said Tuesday.
Finance Minister Kang Man-soo and his Egyptian counterpart Mahmoud Mohie El-Din,
who is in charge of the nation's investment polices, held a one-on-one meeting
and said they see a shared need for stepped-up economic ties, ministry officials
said.
During the meeting held at the government complex in Gwacheon, south of Seoul,
Kang emphasized the importance of cooperation in energy development,
construction, finance and information telecommunications, according to the
officials.
