Minister of State for Foreign Affairs receives delegation of EU ambassadors

Manama, Nov. 5 -- (BNA): The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ghanim bin Fadhul Al Buainain, received today a delegation of European Union delegation, including the Italian Ambassador to the Kingdom, Alberto Vecchi, the French Ambassador to the Kingdom, Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, and EU Chargé d'Affairs in Riyadh, Efthymios Costopoulos. The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to further develop cooperation with member states of the European Union to bolster Bahraini-European relations in various fields. The EU ambassadors praised the democratic climate in Bahrain coinciding with the parliamentary and municipal elections as well as the Kingdom’s outstanding role in backing the peace process and stability at the regional and international levels.
